This site is designed as a resource for meteorologists who work in the energy sector. this includes utilities, retailers, banks, hedge funds,
and the reputable vendors that supply data and forecasts to the energy sector. Our goal is the improvement of medium and long range weather forecasts.
We aim for sound forecasting methods supported by both meteorological principles and statistical analysis. We believe that it is more important to
be right than to be first. We believe that hype, exaggeration, and unwarranted over-confidence do a disservice to the field of meteorology.
Foxholemets.org was founded by Jason Cali. The idea here was to create the best one-stop resource on the internet for the advancement of long range weather forecasting --
a place for meteorologists in the energy and agriculture communities to connect, and share information and innovation.
